EnChanTya is a Portuguese progressive gothic metal band, formed in 2004. The band released a self-titled demo in 2004, followed by an EP titled Moonlighting the Dreamer in 2005. In 2012 they released their full length debut titled Dark Rising, through Massacre Records. The band plays a style of gothic metal with strong progressive elements, highlighted by the operatic vocals of singer Rute Fevereiro, who was also a member of the all female band Black Widows.
