Eternity Void was a short-lived progressive melodic death metal project from Allentown, New Jersey.
The band was centered around guitarist and lead vocalist Evan Pontell-Schaefer. The band played a distinct blend of Death Metal that mixed influences from pretty much everyone between At The Gates and Opeth.
Eternity Void released two demos in 2003 and 2004; 2003 Demo/Tasting the Acrid Flame EP and 2004 Demo. These demos were followed by the full length album Torrents of Devastation in early 2005.
They followed up the release by touring in support of many big acts in the Jersey area Cradle of Filth, Exodus, Type O Negative, and Nile.
Unfortunately this was as far as Eternity Void would go since the band members called it a day after releasing an EP, To Conjure Black Circles, towards the end of 2005.
