Etherna was born in the summer of 2006 from an idea of the brothers Alessio and Alessandro Lucatti, who finally manage to give life to a project already created in the previous years, that combines the personal experiences of the various members of the band with their vast musical influences. Then, bassist and friend Davide Mei, who was playing in an Iron Maiden tribute band, joins the band. The search for the drummer leads to the choice of the young and promising Francesco Micieli, Empoli-based drummer with a great future. Finally, Giacomo Boschetto, who was also an old friend of the Lucatti brothers, becomes the passionate voice of Etherna. From that moment on, many concerts are performed (one of the most memorable is the White Night in Pisa with 1,500 appearances) with a great response from the crowd.
