Extincion (Sometimes styled as E.X.T.I.N.C.I.O.N.) is a nu metal band from Guatemala formed in 1994. They released their debut studio album Orange Buddha in 1997, and one more studio album in 2001 before disappearing. They returned to stage in 2008 and released their first album since 2001 in 2016.
The band has shared the stage with popular metal bands such as Metallica and Korn.
