FAR'N'HIGH are a progressive metal band from France.Initially they went under the name of FAHRENHEIT and were formed in 1991 in Charente Maritime. For four years, this young group shared its time between playhouses, festivals and concerts in bars to get its songs known. In 1995 FAHRENHEIT became FAR'N'HIGH and launched their ten-title debut album "I promise you heaven". Still alive, a mini five-title album was released in 1997, with a new singer. This album, which was also self produced, was welcomed by the press and led to a licence contract with the Brennus/Musea Label. 1999 was the year the band released its first album which was distributed in France as well as abroad. "Attraction of Fire" with its 13 titles received good critics in France but also abroad. In 2002 with three new musicians, FAR'N'HIGH released in 2005 a new album soberly called Day Off.
