Fireproven is an extreme progressive metal band from Finland, drawing on influences that include In Flames, Meshuggah, Dimmu Borgir, Gojira and Strapping Young Lad.
Fireproven began in the summer of 2008 when guitarist Janne and the brothers, Nuutti (drums) and Ilari (keyboard), played together in the wilderness of Hamina. The goal was to create unique music with no limits or boundaries. Soon after that Janne's brother Juha joined the crew to play the bass.
After some rehearsing the band faced a problem: who would do the vocals? Luckily, Juha started to practice growling vocals. The band started to write their own music and play gigs.
Fireproven released their first EP in the beginning of 2012. Fireproven felt they needed something new in their sound so they decided to add clean vocals to their songs. Janne was the right man to do it. Later 2012 it was time to head to the studio
