Flightrisk is a metalcore band from Champaign in Illinois, formed in 2009.

The band formed in the winter of 2009. Straight out of the gate Flightrisk made an immediate impact drawing nearly 400 people at their debut show. They released their EP on April 3, 2010 and immediately started to gain a fan base throughout the Midwest. Since its inception, Flightrisk has gained show sponsors through Budweiser and Monster Energy. They are fully endorsed by Clayton Guitar Picks and have shared the stage with national acts such as Drowning Pool, Diecast, Nonpoint, and more.They combine driving rhythms, heavy riffs, and catchy melodies to create their own unique brew of "Metal".
