FLOOD THE DESERT is a progressive metal band from Lowell, Michigan, USA. The band was started in October 2009 in a garage by Zach Flora on bass and vocals, Duncan Lammas on guitar, synthesizers and vocals and Mike Smith on drums. Live shows began in January 2010. Original drummer Mike Smith departed in late 2011. After a few try-outs drummer Jeremy Hyde was recruited.
The band aims to, “just keep pumping fans with a wide range of musical melodies, everything ranging from prog to metal to funk to jam, and everything in between”.
