For The Sake Of Leaving is a five-piece metalcore band from Naples, in the southern Italy. The band started its activity in January 2010, by the meeting of a bunch of friends sharing their passion for hardcore and metalcore music including all of their own influences as well. They quickly gained a fair success in the local underground music scene, due to its lack of a proper hardcore community (which made them by far one of the very few bands playing this kind of music in Naples).
In spring 2011 the band self-released their first EP named “Oversea”. Their second EP "Days Gone Bye" is now out.
