Another Krautrock band signed to the German label, Bacilus and cranked out one smoking album and vanished like My Solid Ground, Dschinn and Haze. Influenced by the Deep Purple/Vanilla Fudge heavy blues psych "heavy on the Hammond" assault with brushes of prog and folk like Quartermass, Cressida and bands of that ilk but only heavier. More of a English style of heavy prog/psych than the typical defined Krautrock of the time.
Formed by vocalist/guitarist Andy Kirnberger who had just left fellow label mates Pell Mell after thier self titled release, Marburg which was more of a symphonic/folk prog endeavour with the accompanient of violins and some winds and the (awful)screaming vocals of frontman Thomas Schmitt. Kirnberger brought in a better vocalist for Frame but the band dissolved shortly after the release and Kirnberger teamed up with Jochen Leuschner, vocalist from the Krautrocker/jazz-fusioned band Dzyan to form Hardcake Special.
