Fresnel was a sludge metal / post-sludge / post-hardcore band from Vienna in Austria.
Fresnel formed in 2001, and disbanded in May 2008 before completing work on their first full length album. Their last lineup featured Dieter Kienast (guitar), Harald Sagl (guitar), Jürgen Schicha (bass), and Roland Hörmann (drums).
