From The Embrace is a melodic death metal band from Tampa, Florida.
The band was formed in 2007 by Devin Garcia and J.T. Hosack. With the addition of frontman Nick Marrero’s harsh vocals in early 2009, From The Embrace’s sound took on a more aggressive texture and the band began writing new material.
Later that same year, From The Embrace recorded their first EP, produced by Brian Elliot, at Mana Studios; the recording features a guest appearance by The Absence’s Patrick Pintavalle on the track Disease of Ignorance. As well as sharing the stage with the likes of Kindom Of Sorrow (Relapse), Deicide (Century Media), and The Absence, and Six Feet Under (Metal Blade), they completed a Florida run with Rose Funeral (Metal Blade) in February 2010, but also, their own East Coast headlining tour in June through August of 2010.
