The project Frozen Sand was born in January of 2010 by ' meeting of guitarist Matthias Cerutti , drummer Simone De Benedetti and bassist Titian Vitiello . The three members had worked together previously but with the advent of the singer Luca Pettinaroli that the project can be said to be permanently active . This new training is more stable at the end of August , with the entry of a second guitarist ( brother of drummer ) Federico De Benedetti . The current lineup has written , between April 2010 and January 2011 , 4 songs in the first EP completed in February. The band is now looking for venues to play to offer their music , which ranges from progressive rock and melodic metal . The band also uses a good repertoire of covers for their evenings .
