Fruit Tree was formed in the summer of 2000 with the intention of creating beautiful, dark, atmospheric and melodic music, by blending heavy riffs with melodic guitars and death/black metal vocals with clean female vocals.
The resulting style was a mixture of contemporary metal mixed with the melodic tradition of 80s style metal and a gothic touch added by the female vocals.
