Galaxy were an American heavy space rock act, whose dark and psychedelic style was akin to certain branches of doom metal and stoner metal, and thus way, Galaxy can be seen as an early doom metal act.
They released one album with the title "Day Without Sun" in 1977 (privately releasing it already in 1976), which is quite a rarity and very valuable among vinyl collectors today.
