US outfit GARGAMEL was a spoof project set up by Jason Suecof and Tony Espinoza from Capharnaum, and the whole concept of the band was to do a piss take on black metal.
Suecof handled all instruments and vocals on the demo "Legions of Ganon" from 1998, while Espinoza wrote the lyrics and gave some minor directions as to the development of the compositions. For the band pictures, friends and acquaintances of the band were brought in to have a few hours of fun out in the woods.
Besides the three track demo, this spoof band didn't release any further material. A fourth track, Rebirth of Hordak, was recorded and made it's way to a select few copies of their demo, but eventually Tony and Jason felt that it was so lacking in quality that it deserved to be shelved.
