The Devil’s Blood were an Occult hard rock band from Eindhoven in the Netherlands. The name Devil’s Blood comes from a song from the album “Casus Luciferi” by Swedish black metal band Watain. The band was formed in 2007 by lead guitarist and priciple songwriter Selim “SL” Lemouchi. His sister Farida was the vocalist.
Lemouchi’s songwriting was greatly influenced by his beliefs in Satanism. During the band’s 6 year career they released two albums, their debut “The Time Of No Time Evermore” coming out in 2009. A third “III: Tabula Rasa or Death And The Seven Pillars” was released after the band had split up in 2013. They also released a number of E.P.’s and singles. Any chance of the band reforming is unlikely due to the death of Lemouchi in 2014. It was later revealed to have been suicide.
