Geezer Butler Band, or GZR, was a short-lived heavy metal project established by Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath fame in 1984 - the band was split up when Butler joined Ozzy Osbourne's band in 1988. Butler would establish another band in the 1990s, also referred to as GZR (or G//Z/R), but G//Z/R and Geezer Butler Band are typically considered two separate bands.
