Hallatar were formed in 2016 by Juha Raivio as a tribute to his former partner and bandmate in Trees Of Eternity, Aleah Stanbridge who sadly passed away in 2016. He is also known as a member of Swallow The Sun. He is joined by Amorphis vocalist Tomi Joutsen and former HIM drummer Gas Lipstick. Their debut album (and possibly only release?) No Stars Upon The Bridge was released in 2017. Their music blends death doom and gothic metal.
