HEADLESS were a death metal band from Brindisi, Italy.
Headless were formed in the summer of 2005 by Alessandro Liuzzi (guitar), Daniele Marchionna (drums) and Francesco Marchionna (bass and vocals). The mix of the three band members gives rise to a direct brutal sound which is further built on when Gianni Sirena (guitar) joins.
Headless made their live debut at the 2005 Metal Summer End Festival with other Italian underground extreme metal acts. Headless also played the 2nd Damiano De Parigi memorial in December alongside bands like Necrotorture, Ingraved and Ad Noctem Funeriis
The band’s first release, Blood Desire, arrived in 2006 on Landspeed Records and was followed a year later by the self-released Son of Failure.
Headless split up in 2008.
