HEADLESS CROSS is a heavy metal / thrash metal band from Birmingham, United Kingdom. The entire line-up other than founder Dave Silver (vocals, guitar) departed in mid-2006 following a dispute between Silver and Jack Wilks. Since then the line-up was in an almost constant flux with Dave Del Cid, Dave Justo, Stuart Beardshaw and Heray Rios all coming and going before Silver ended the band in 2007. Most of the short-term members never contributed to any recordings. Heray Rios is Mexican, Dave Justo is American, and his predecessor Dave Del Cid is from Honduras.
Headless Cross released their first demo recording, Crown of Thorns, in 2004. This was followed by two EPs; Burning Sanctuary in 2005 and In Cold Blood in 2006.
