The history of the Hell:On started in Spring 2005. The founders were a guitarist, Alexey Pasko, and a drummer, Oleg Talanov. Following several rehearsals a bass player, Alexander Sitalo, joined the band, as well as a guitarist Anton Pavlenko. Vocals remained vacant for some time. Several candidatures were tested. Finally, this place was given to Alexander Baev. While yet unknown, Hell:On started rehearsing. During the process of song-writing it became clear that the style of the band represented a fusion of thrash, death and progressive metal, which was the consequence of different musical preferences of the participants. In a group discussion HELL:ON was chosen as the name for the band. Demo material was completed, the name was chosen – thus HELL:ON was ready for concert activity.
