Hero To Be is a metalcore band from Herndon in Virginia, formed in 2011.
Hero To Be initially began as a jam project between guitarist Drew Barton and Synth player Robbie Giannetta. Eventually, they were introduced to Drummer Luke Aronson, who was interested in writing original material and their styles began to mesh.
As the trio continued writing songs, their unique sound began to crystallize, and they enlisted Chris Colvin from Richmond, VA on vocals in early 2011. The newest addition to the band, Shawn Olson from Germantown MD in the summer of 2013 completed the band lineup.
