Hyatari was conceived by drone merchants Mac Walker (guitar) and Chris Tackett (bass), both formerly of Huntington, West Virginia artists Chum, and electronic composer/DJ Brett Fuller. The group released 'The Light Carriers' on Codebreaker in 2005. During October 2006 Hyatari announced signature with Deepsend Records. Their second album, 'They Will Surface' was released in December 2008.
