I Decay is a five piece metal band from Clio, Michigan that formed in early February 2004. Their sound blends the new East Coast Hardcore grooves and rhythms with the attitude and poise of the eighties thrash metal movement. Their guitar riffs are technical, complicated and fast, with lots of melody. The thrashing bass mixed with pounding double-bass and elaborate drums beats topped off with low growls and high glass shattering screams gives them a brutal sound ment to destroy. The group has gone through many changes in the year they have been together; line-up changes, replacing a bass player and upgrading their drummer are just a couple of the tests they have had to over come.
