Identified was a short-lived experimental post-rock / atmospheric sludge metal metal band from Boston in Massachusetts, formed in 2005.
The band´s music is fully instrumental. Identified grew out of a 2005 collaboration when Sonny DiPerri (drums) invited J Heasley and Zac McGowan (guitars) to play on a soundtrack for a local independent film. They later added bassist Chris Saint-Amant to the lineup. The band released their self-titled debut full-length studio album in 2007. They disbanded in 2008.
