IMMINENT SONIC DESTRUCTION is an American progressive metal act from Detroit, Michigan. The band was formerly known as MELLOTRON, but changed their name in 2011 to IMMINENT SONIC DESTRUCTION. In 2012, they released their debut album, "Recurring Themes". The band cites acts like DREAM THEATER, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, MESHUGGAH, PANTERA, and GENESIS as influences.
