A progressive metal band from Minsk in Belarus, In Search For was founded in 2008 by singer and violinist Yann Zhenchak. Yann Zhenchak started writing songs for a solo project in 2007 and the work lasted almost 2 years. Initially he played all instruments by himself or used software to emulate sounds. Finally he decided to form a band and in 2009 In Search For released the first album "Faith". The album which is progressive metal with symphonic and folk elements was recorded by the band with the help of guest performers. In 2010, In Search For self-released their EP Soul Inside. Yann Zhenchal also contributed to the 2005 Ne vo sne li album by local progressive folk band Pesnyary.
