Formed in 2003, Inepsys is a progressive metal band from Toulouse in France.
The skeleton of the band formed in april 2003. Ludo Mercier (guitar) and Romain Castel (drums) are at the origin of the adventure. Their ideas developed rapidly around a music original, progressive metal, style which is already full plethora of renowned bands who founded the inspirations of two friends: Metallica to Dream Theater from Iron Maiden, Scar Symmetry, Pantera, Megadeth, Pink Floyd or Rush. They then start looking for musicians. They begin to compose powerful, complex, but also accessible to a general public music. For several months, the musicians move to their side, The desire to incorporate a keyboard is strongly felt.
