Inferi are a black metal band from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In 1997, Inferiblack (drums), Fabrizio Andrada (guitar), Ariel Canca (bass) decide to form a band to play black metal. After a few months, Marcelo Torres joins up as the singer of this band and so began a long period of composition.
1998: INFERI performs many shows in the best places of Buenos Aires, supports the best locals bands of extreme metal.
1999: That summer the band signs to Furias Records and records their debut album entitled “The Call of the Dark Side”, and so they become in the first black metal band in Argentina that actually edited and launched a full CD. The official presentation of this album is next to two large international bands such as INCANTATION (U.S.A) and NEUROSIS INC. (Colombia). After the shows, the band decides to incorporate new instruments to line-up. Gaston Serpa becomes the new keyboard player
