Inmitten des Waldes (German for "amidst the forest") was a black metal band created by J. Held of Ponta Grossa, Paraná, Brazil. The band’s name and lyrics are in German. Originally formed in 2001 as Zwischen Den Wald, the name was changed as it was grammatically incorrect.
In 2011 the band was wound up and a new project called Steingeist was launched.
