INSTANT SUPPRESSION is a Russian Progressive Death Metal band from Rostov-on-Don I Russia. Formed in 2005, the band right from the start the band opted for a sound that was aggressive and technical as well as melodious. While showing influences from bands such as Dream Theater evident, the music is based in melodic death metal. The mix of growls with clean male and female vocals creates a well-balanced and diverse sound.
The band's recording career took off with the 2007 EP 'To the Back of Beyond'. Two years later in 2009 after a single release, the full-length 'Domain.Nation' followed. In 2011 the band released their second single.
