Intra Spelaeum, which translated from latin means "inside the cave" was founded in the spring of 2010 by two members, Michael "Kron" (Empty-Shell, ex-Melancholy) and Ilya "Wolfenhirt" (Svarga). They were later joined by Igor "Geralt". From the beggining, the material of the band was focused around the sound of classic 90's Doom metal, bands like Tiamat, My Dying Bride, Saturnus, Septic Flesh, but with a more modern sound and gloomy Russian lyrics. Their debut album was released on December 2nd 2011 on SvaSound.
