Jane is a German metalcore band from Duisburg in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Jane was formed in late 1997 by Matthias Drost (guitar), Mike Masurczak (guitar), Marc Hess (drums), Thomas Kuhn (bass) and Markus Hohn (vocals).
After releasing the Romeo Is Dead album in 2002, Jane split up with some members forming a new band J'n, in 2004. J'n took the old name Jane again in 2006.
