KAISER AND THE MACHINES OF CREATION is a progressive metal band from Adelaide in South Australia. The band was launched in 2004 by songwriter/guitarist Paul Kaiser. In 2008, Kaiser And The Machines Of Creation released the debut album 'Intraspection', Paul Kaiser bringing together a band of musicians that he had gathered around him in the years leading to the release. The nucleus of the band was Peter Nikolic on keyboards, Regan Burgess on bass and Mitch Willson on drums.
For over 20 years, Paul Kaiser has been a prominent guitarist in the Australian rock scene, known for his interpretations of Led Zeppelin and Yngwie Malmsteen. The 'Intraspection' album is clearly influenced by Rainbow and also shows influences from Threshold, Deadsoul Tribe and Ayreon.
