Kalaschnikov was a speed/heavy metal duo from Germany consisting of Patrice "T-Bass" Jones (vocals, bass) and Simon Simonson (guitars) who released the album The Torture Never Stops in 1988. They later split up.

After the band had split, their label Metal Enterprises put together a fake band and released a second Kalaschnikov album called Desert Storm in 1990, however this release has nothing to do with the real Kalaschnikov and should not be added to this page. It was part of a run of so called metalploitation albums - follow-up's to real releases by the label's former bands.
