Karkaos are a symphonic melodic death metal / metalcore band from Deux-Montagnes and Montreal, Quebec. The band was founded by Vincent Harnois (g/v) and was originally known as Sinister Vengeance and was active from 2003-2009 before changing their name to Karkaos. They released their first ep in 2011 followed by a full-length album in 2014. Their second album was released in 2017.
Karkaos are a female fronted band. From 2009-2014 their lead vocalist was Veronica O. Rodriguez. 2014-2019, Viky Boyer was their lead vocalist. Since 2019, Morgan Lander of Kittie has taken lead vocal duties.
