US musician Karl Sanders is the guitarist and vocalist for the technical brutal death metal act Nile. Under his own name he has produced the albums Saurian Meditation (2004) and Saurian Exorcisms (2009), using experimental ideas that never ultimately not used for Nile. The music of the project is best described as Arabic folk/ambient music.
Former Nile drummer Pete Hammoura was previously also involved with the project while Sanders currently collaborates with vocalist Mike Breazeale.
As an influential figure within the death metal genre, Karl Sanders has been included as a Metal Related artist on the MMA.
