King Leoric is a German Heavy/Power metal band, formed in 1998. They pride themselves on being a classic metal band, influenced by the likes of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Accept and Manowar, and led by vocalist/bassist Jens Wunder. In 2002 they their full length debut Piece of Past, which featured more of a heavy metal sound, while the 2005 follow up Thunderforce had a mix of heavy metal and power metal. With their third album Lingua Regis, released in 2013 the power elements became even stronger, though the music still maintained the same classic metal style and energy of their first two albums. In 2014 longtime rhythm guitarist Björn Patschureck left the band, and they are currently searching for a replacement.
