Lamanaïf is an Italian progressive metal project created with the intention of combining music and theatre. Formed in 2008 in the University of Pandova Italy, Lamanaïf brings together student-musicians who wanted to create something different. Esteban Vidoz (vocals), Matteo Florian (bass), Simone Bianco (guitars) and Simone Sossai (drums) comprise the line-up. In December 2012, they released their debut ''L'uomo Infinito'' through Lizard Records.
Lamanaïf’s sound has been described as a mix of The Mars Volta and Devil Doll set on a theatrical scene with a progressive metal background.
