Level The City is a deathcore band from Milwaukee in Wisconsin, formed in 2009.

"Level The City began from a project called Necrotic Degradation in Hartford, WI back in late 2009. We all had been playing shows together in separate bands through our high school years. Carl Danielson and Ryan Oswald had been playing together since middle school, and Mitch Potrykus had joined for a little while to fill in during their sophomore year.
It wasn’t until senior year that everything started coming together. Members Carl Danielson and Ryan Oswald recorded the full-length album entitled Apnea. Soon thereafter members Vince Alvarez (guitar), Michael Crisp (drums), and Mitch Potrykus (bass) were added to the lineup and played a few shows as Necrotic Degradation. After summer, the band disbanded due to the start of college causing members to be disbursed throughout Wisconsin. Then in early 2011 former members began reforming
