Lord of Darkness was a speed metal band who were the second name of the band Evil Blood. Their origins were in Croatia, however Lord of Darkness first came to be after Evil Blood relocated to the United Kingdom.
Lord of Darkness took the name in 1989 and kept it until 1995. They were forced to change it after the Italian band Dark Lord threatened them with legal action over the similarities between the two names. They changed their name to Djinn.
