Lostpray is a band which was founded in 2013 in Odessa/Ukraine, but its story dates back to 2002 in Istanbul/Turkey. It started as three friends from school who had one thing in common and that was to make music. Burak Gundogdu, Tufan Cigdem and Erkan Kaya would meet after school, sometimes at studios, sometimes at their homes and would play all the songs they were crazy about (Metallica, Iced Earth, Megadeth etc.). After living their high school periods like this, they had to separate as Erkan Kaya and Tufan Cigdem had to leave Istanbul due to their University education. Even though they were no longer playing together, they all continued to make their own music. In 2013, Tufan Cigdem joined the singing contest "The Voice of Ukraine".
