Lux Purus is a symphonic metal band from Osijek, Croatia. Band was formed in year 2011 by the guitar player Mario Stojčić, vocalist Ana Marija Dundović and keyboard player Borna Dananić. Band's music is inspired by bands like Rhapsody of Fire, Therion, Nightwish and also some Japanese bands like Matenrou Opera. The band had difficult time finding the right people for this kind of music and changed a lot of members before Igor Vilupek joined on bass guitar and Tanja Ivković on violin.
After several successful gigs in Croatia and Serbia, the band entered “Studio Armageddon” in Osijek in October 2014 to record their debut album “Chaos Creates“, that included choir and lots of orchestrations, and booked European tour in October 2015 with Italian band Soul S Chains. Band is currently searching for a label.
