Malevolent Hand is a groove metal band from Winnipeg, Canada. Formed in 2010, Mark Fraser (drums) and Travis Thompson (guitar, vocals) put the band together after a previous failed project. Thompson's younger brother Troy (guitar) joined the band in 2011, along with Pablo Riedel (bass). Reidel unexpectedly left the band, and was replaced in April 2013 by Tyler Hunt.
The band recorded a demo and released two singles, and then released their debut album "Delusions of Autonomy" in June 2016.
