Metallic Taste of Blood is an instrumental avant-garde metal/post-metal band formed in 2011 by Italian guitarist Eraldo Bernocchi and Australian bassist Colin Edwin. They released their self-titled debut in 2012, and after the joining of drummer Ted Parsons (of Prong and Killing Joke fame), they released their second album 'Doctoring the Dead' on May 26th 2015.
