MINDWORK is a progressive death / fusion metal band from Prague, Czech Republic. Mindwork’s creation can be traced to the summer of 2006 when Martin Schuster (guitars, vocals) left a thrash/death band ARAWEN. Considering the fact, that for quite some time he also played in a project DEAFENING SILENCE, which consisted of skilled musicians, a choice of band members was pretty obvious.
And so a post of guitar player was taken by David Vaněk and a post of bass player by Adam Palma. The only missing thing was a drummer. From September 2006, material consisting entirely of Arawen songs, started to be rehearsed in this 3-piece group (excluding a drum machine). When the material was in a stage of almost-ready-to-be-presented, a suitable candidate for a post of drummer was sought.
