Mirrormaze is an Italian progressive metal band.
From their website: "Mirrormaze was born in 2008 after several collaboration between the three founder members: Davide Penna (guitars), Sam Lanfranchini (keyboards) and Matteo Maselli (drums).Understood their musical chemistry, the trio, for the rest of the year and the beginning of the next one, start to compose songs influenced by their respective favorite bands like: Dream Theater, Fates Warnig, Alter bridge, Evergrey, Nevermore, Symphony X, Muse, Pink Floyd, Rush etc etc. During the first half of 2009 the three develop their first 5 tracks which ended up being being the first Demo.Songs undoubtely show from the beginning a progressive and metal style but a bit atipic in itself, in fact, even if there are many instrumental, orchestral and odd-timing section very tipical of prog, at the same time the band binding for melodies and riffing emerges, a feature that come from a further genre
