Modra are a thrash metal band based in Odense, Denmark. They were formed in 2004 and have released en EP and appear on a number of compilation tracks. They started out as a four-piece but added an additional guitarist in 2008. Their original singer Uffe Dons left in 2009 to concentrate on the commercially succesful melodic death metal band Unbelief ans was replaced by 'Mr. X', who later turned out to be Mads Petersen. Their syle is heavy crossover thrash metal with groove metal tendencies and Bosnian elements.
