Mournful Tears is a black metal band from Guarujá, São Paulo, Brazil.
Mournful Tears was formed in 2004 by Despotopoulos and Nuctemeron with intention to play black/doom metal with many keyboard themes and a very sad atmosphere. As the band evolved into new influences such as Setherial, Emperor and Darkthrone, it began to take an aggressive and dark form.
